JAE Ceramics at Anglian Potters' Christmas Exhibition, Cambridge

Updated: Nov 25, 2021

Welcome to my first JAE Ceramics newsletter.

The aim of this blog is to bring to my customers and subscribers updates about new products, planned events, and interesting snippets about my design inspiration and making process.

As a member of an association called the Anglian Potters, 2021 will see my first time participation in their annual Christmas Show. This will take place from 13 November to 12 December 2021 at All Saints' Church in the heart of Cambridge, UK.

With its beautiful stained-glass windows from leading Arts and Crafts artists of its day, All Saints' Church provides an apt and beautiful backdrop for the works of 50 or so other talented pottery makers from the East of England, among whom my porcelain vessels will feature.

If you live in or around Cambridge or are planning a visit in the next month, I would encourage to you drop into All Saints' and to browse the interesting and diverse works on display.

All the exhibits are for sale to the public.

My own pottery making has briefly taken a back seat whilst I reorganise my studio and develop some ideas. I am feeling very excited by the potential for the new range of work, which is inspired by my time working in the diamond and gold industries and my exposure to stunning jewels and jewellery design. No precious stones or metals are involved sadly, but the concept plays with the notion of adornment.

So, do continue to watch this space for the launch of this new collection of work in early 2022.

Please feel free to make contact via the Get in Touch button on the website, or my email at jaeceramicsuk@gmail.com if you have any queries. And don't forget you can follow me on Facebook and/or Instagram for more regular posts.

Keep well.

Warm regards

Judith
